Truck & Bus Builder CHINA is the title of a new publication from Truck & Bus Builder Publishing Ltd. It is published quarterly with the first issue being July 2007.
The aim of Truck & Bus Builder CHINA is to report on commercial vehicle manufacturing developments in China, a burgeoning industry sector that is now rivalling those of western European and North America: China, in heavy bus terms, is three times the size of the whole western European market and the medium to heavy truck market is more than double and growing.
The purpose of Truck & Bus Builder CHINA is to highlight and track the key commercial vehicle manufacturing developments occurring within China and to review economic, cultural and legislative influences, impacting on this sector.
The first issue, records key recent developments within the OEM and component manufacturing sectors; looks at investment and environmental policy developments in the cities of Beijing / Xiamen and the impact these are having on the bus and truck building industry. Changes in China’s national rules and regulations governing commercial vehicles are also recorded along with China’s policy and strategy on CV exports. Also included is a statistical review of the CV markets in China, which starts with the years ending 2006 and 2005.
