Attached lid plastic crates in the workplace

Attached lid crates
Attached lid crates are very popular, giving degrees of protection and security beyond the open crates.
The twin lids are hinged from either side of the container and have interleaving tags to form a reliable meeting, supporting each other for extra strength. When open the two lid halves fold back through 270 degrees to hang vertically beside the container sides.
These attached lid containers stack when lids are closed, and nest when the lids are open. Space savings of up to 70% are achieved when nested for return journeys.
Stacking crates
Designed to stack and inter-stack for efficient volume capacity and flexibility. The standard sizes are modular and to the European standard: 200 x 150; 300 x 200; 400 x 300; 600 x 400 and 800 x 600.
These sizes are designed for inter-stacking and efficient loading onto pallets – the main standard size of 600 x 400 will palletise at 5 per layer on a 1200 x 1000 pallet, and 4 per layer on a 1200 x 800 pallet.
Styles of container available are solid base and sides, solid base with vented sides and vented base and sides. Various colours are available, as are loose lids for some sizes.
For local manoeuvrability, dollies are available.
Folding containers and hinged lid variations are available, as are order-picking varieties with open side or ends.
Internal dividers are available when required for separation of contents or for extra support to individual items within a container.
Stacking / nesting crates
Designed to stack when in use, and nest when empty, ready for compact transportation back to base.
Many stacking/nesting boxes are bicoloured to ease the positioning for either stacking or nesting. (alternate colours to stack, and match colours to nest).
Some sizes are available with bale arms, which fold in to stack and fold out to nest.

Security
Special tamper evident clips are available which will show if a closed container has been tampered with in transit. Labelling and bar code identification facilities are included, designed in to the containers for efficient and flexible content identification. Some ranges can have electronic tag identification embedded into the plastic.
Food grade crates
A range of food grade containers, bins, tubs, hoppers etc are available for the food and catering industry.
Small parts storage bins
Small parts storage bins are available in a wide range of sizes, together with racking and louver panels to accept them.
Colours available enable quick part type identification, if required.
Bulk storage crates
A range of high capacity, bulk storage containers are available for high volume product storage and transportation. Folding versions are available for compact return transport when empty.
Specials
If you have a specific and individual need, special size containers can be manufactured for your needs out of a variety of materials, including conductive resin fibreboard and polypropylene. Prices will depend upon size, complexity and volume, but we are pleased to advise and quote for your needs.
