SILT TRAPS

The Problem:
Surface water run off from areas, such as motor vehicle jet wash facilities, can contain levels of silt, which needs to be separated before the liquid proceeds to fuel/oil separators

The Solution:
Acorn silt traps are designed with a hinged open mesh steel cover, allowing a free flow of contaminated water into the unit. Discharge is via a single outlet connection

Typical applications:
Motor vehicle jet wash systems; commercial vehicle yards; plant hire depots.
Acorn are able to offer silt traps / full retention separators as an integral unit.
